    Cheesy Mexican Style Lasagna


    1 1/2 lbs (685 g) extra-lean ground beef
    1 - 8.75 oz (250 g) package Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into
    1/2 inch cubes
    1/4 cup water
    3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
    6 - 6 inch flour tortillas
    1/2 cup Kraft Tex Mex Shredded Cheese

    Recipe




    Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

    Brown the meat in a large skillet.

    Add the Velveeta & water.

    Cook & stir for 5 minutes or until the Velveeta is melted.

    Remove the skillet from the heat.

    Stir in the salsa.

    Spread 1/4 of the meat mixture onto the bottom of an 8 inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.

    Then, top with 2 tortillas.

    Repeat the layers two times.

    Top with the remaining meat mixture & sprinkle with shredded cheese.

    Cover the baking dish.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

    Uncover the baking dish & let it stand for 5 minutes before cutting it to serve.
