    Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnut Holes

    Source of Recipe

    ineRecipe Goldmine

    List of Ingredients

    Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnut Holes

    2 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup milk
    4-5 tablespoons shortening
    4 cups flour
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Bowl with about 2 cups of sugar and several tablespoons of cinnamon

    Recipe

Mix all dry ingredients, then mix all wet ingredients. Blend the two together. Roll out the dough to about 1/2" thickness.

Using a large bottle cap or some other circular item about 1" in diameter, stamp out the doughnut holes.

Deep fry in in a saucepan with about 2" of oil heated to about 380 degrees (BE CAREFUL IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO THE LATTER --- I SUGGEST USING THE T-Fal DEEP FRYERS!).

When golden brown, remove and drop into the bowl of sugar and cinnamon immediately. Toss to coat, then serve.
