Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwiches
2 tablespoons spicy mustard
4 slices whole wheat or rye bread
1 tablespoon sunflower nuts
1 (1 1/2 ounce) slice Mozzarella cheese -- cut in half
1 (1 1/2 ounce) slice Swiss cheese -- cut in half
1 (1 1/2 ounce) slice Cheddar cheese -- cut in half
OR
2 (3/4 ounce) slices process American cheese
2 tablespoons margarine, butter or spread -- softenedRecipe
Spread mustard over 1 side of each bread slice.
Sprinkle nuts over mustard on 2 bread slices.
For each sandwich, place one half piece each of Mozzarella cheese, Swiss cheese and Cheddar cheese on nuts.
Top with remaining bread, mustard side down.
Spread half of the margarine over tops of bread.
Place sandwiches, margarine sides down, in 10-inch skillet.
Spread remaining margarine over tops of bread.
Cook uncovered over medium heat about 5 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown, turn.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes until bottoms are golden brown and cheese is melted.
