    Chocolate Syrup Brownies


    1 egg
    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    ¾ cup Hershey’s® chocolate syrup
    1½ cups flour
    ¼ tsp. baking soda
    Dash of salt
    ½ cup butter
    ¾ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

    Recipe




    Preheat to 350º.

    Beat egg, then add sugar and chocolate syrup.

    Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together, then add to the sugar and egg mixture.

    Fold in the butter and nuts.

    Spread in a well greased shallowed 9 inch square pan.

    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Cut into small squares while warm.

    Yield 16 brownies
