    Beer Snack Nuts


    4 1/2 c Raw shelled peanuts
    2 c Sugar
    1/2 ts Salt
    1 c Water
    Coarse salt

    Recipe




    Bring peanuts, sugar, salt and water to a boil.

    Boil until all liquid is absorbed, about 25 to 30
    minutes.

    Preheat oven to 300°.

    Spread nuts on a greased jelly roll pan; sprinkle
    with salt.

    Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with more salt and bake an additional 20 minutes. Cool completely.

    Store airtight

    Yield: 4 1/2 cups
