    A nutty fruit butter that you can spread on toast, pancakes, waffles or desserts. Very good.

    List of Ingredients




    Fruit Butter


    Chopped toasted hazelnuts
    1/4 tsp ground cloves
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1 tsp finely shredded orange peel
    1/2 cup raisins
    1 cup coarsely chopped figs
    1 pound red seedless grapes
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    1 tbs balsamic vinegar
    1/2 cup cored chopped pear
    1 cup of 1" pieces peeled seeded pumpkin

    Recipe




    IN a pot, combine grapes, pumpkin, figs, pear and raisins.

    Add remaining ingredients, except nuts and 1/2 cup water.

    Bring to boiling.

    Reduce heat.

    SIMMER covered 30 min.

    Uncover simmer 45 min. or until thickened and almost all liquid has evaporated.

    Cool completely.

    Transfer to a food processor or blender bowl.

    Cover process until nearly smooth.

    Before SERVING, sprinkle with hazelnuts.

    To store, cover refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze in tightly covered freezer containers up to 3 months...
