Freezer Frosting
1/3 cup shortening
4 1/2 cup confectioners sugar(10x) divided
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 -1 cup whipping cream Recipe
In a mixing bowl , cream shortening , 1 cup sugar , vanilla, and salt.
Add remaining sugar alternately with cream.
Beat until the frosting reaches desired consistency.
Cover and freeze up tp 2 months.
Thaw before using.
Yeild:
About 3 cups(enough to frost 24 cup cakes, or a two- layer , or tube, or 13x9 inch or, 15x10 inch cake.
