    Baked Beef Stew


    1½ pounds stew meat, uncooked
    6 medium carrots sliced and diced
    1 large onion
    1 cup celery, diced
    2 cups potatoes, diced
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 tablespoons tapioca
    1 cup tomato juice
    Salt and pepper

    Recipe




    Bake covered at 250° for five hours.

    Do not uncover while baking.
