    Carrots Supreme


    8 cups sliced carrots
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tbls. butter
    1 10-3/4-oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 cup soft bread crumbs

    Recipe




    Place carrots in saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil.

    Reduce heat, cover and cook until tender.

    Meanwhile, in small skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.

    Drain carrots; add onion, soup, mushrooms and cheese.

    Transfer to a greased 2-1/2 qt. baking dish.

    Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.

    Yields 8 servings.
