Recipe Introduction
"A very quick and easy pasta dish inspired by my Italian grandmother. Sort of an Italian stir-fry. Serve this over short pastas such as shells, orrechietti, or farfalle."
Serves 8
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound cooked and peeled shrimp
2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed and coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons minced garlic
hot sauce to taste
salt to taste
2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
Recipe
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Saute shrimp, asparagus and garlic until asparagus is bright green and slightly tender.
Stir in hot sauce and salt.
Dust with Romano cheese before serving.
