Spread, Cheesy Vegetable
List of Ingredients
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup chopped, cored and peeled apple
1/4 cup chopped carrot
2 tablespoons chopped celery
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
2 tablespoons chopped currants
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Recipe
In a food processor, process grated cheddar cheese, yogurt, lemon juice and soy sauce until smooth.
Gently stir in apple, carrot, celery, pecans, currants, wheat germ and curry.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Yield: 2 cups
