1 package grated or shredded Cheddar Cheese (optional)
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
Recipe
1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Open crescent rolls and pull apart. Slice each would-be roll into 3 sections.
3. Put a small amount of mustard, a small section of onion and cheese on each piece of dough. Place 1 wiener at one end of dough and roll up. Place on a cookie sheet.
4. Repeat until all the dough and wieners are used.
5. Place in pre-heated 425 degree F. oven and bake for 12 minutes or until dough is a light golden brown.
VARIATIONS: Try adding a bit of cooked, crumbled bacon to each; or, wrap a partially cooked slice of bacon around the dough/wiener and hold in place with a toothpick!
