    1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed

    1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

    3/4 cup mayonnaise

    1-1/4 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided

    1/4 cup minced onion

    1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

    1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon paprika

    Recipe



    1. Drain spinach; press between paper towels to remove excess moisture.

    2. Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl, stirring with a wire whisk until smooth. Add spinach, 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese, onion, and next 4 ingredients; stir well. Spoon into a greased 1-quart casserole.

    3. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and paprika; bake 10 more minutes.

    4. Serve with assorted crackers or party rye bread.

    Yields 2-1/4 cups or 36 tablespoons. Nutritional information is for 1 tablespoon of spread.
