Muffins, Cheddar Raisin

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup (4 oz) Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2/3 cup raisins
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and paprika in a large bowl.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture is like coarse meal. Stir in the cheese and raisins.
- Make a well in the center. Combine the egg and milk and add to the well in the dry ingredients. Stir until moistened.
- Spoon into greased and floured muffin tins. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
