    Double Pistachio Cake


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 package (4 serving-size) pistachio pudding mix
    • 1 box (2 layer-size) white or yellow cake mix
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 cup club soda or water
    • 1/4 cup oil
    • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
    • FROSTING:
    • 1-1/2 cup cold milk
    • 1 envelope Dream Whip
    • 1 package (4 serving-size) pistachio pie filling mix


    Instructions


    1. Blend all cake ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.


    2. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 to 45 minutes.

    3. Cool for 15 minutes. Remove from pan.



    4. MAKE FROSTING: Pour milk into a deep narrow mixer bowl. Add Dream Whip and pistachio pie filling mix.


    5. Beat at low speed to blend. Increase to high speed and beat until soft peaks form, 4 to 6 minutes. (Makes 3 cups.)) Frost cooled cake.
