Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.; grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. 2. Beat the margarine and sugar together in a large bowl. 3. Add the next 6 ingredients and beat until smooth. 4. Stir in the raisins and candied peel. 5. Pour into prepared pan; level top. 6. Bake 30-35 minutes until golden brown and firm and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 7. Loosen edges and transfer to wire rack. When cool, turn right side up and cool completely. From: “Family Cookbook # 15” NOTE: Freezes well.
