1/2 pound sliced bacon
1 pound lean ground beef or turkey (I use turkey)
1 (28-ounce) can cut green beans
1 (15.5-ounce) can red beans
1 (15.5-ounce) can Great Northern beans
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
2 (15 ounce) cans pork and beans
1 (18 ounce) bottle Hickory Brown Sugar barbecue sauce
Recipe
1. Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces. In skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until browned. Blot grease/drain.
2. Add ground meat to skillet. Cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes, breaking meat into small crumbles.
3. Meanwhile, drain and rinse all beans EXCEPT pork & beans; set aside.
4. Drain meat and return to skillet. Add ALL beans, barbecue sauce, and all except 1/4 cup of the bacon to meat in skillet; mix well.
5. Spoon mixture into casserole dish; top with remaining bacon. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Comment from Wendy at recipexchange.com: “This is one of my hubby's and my all-time favorite dinners...I make it at least once a month and it makes a lot so we enjoy the leftovers! If you or a family member likes beans, you'll be in heaven when you make this recipe.”
