3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups sifted all-purpose f lour
1 tablespoon ground aniseed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Recipe
1. Beat the eggs until they are very light and pale yellow in color. Add the sugar and beat vigorously about 3 minutes.
2. Sift the flour together with the ground aniseed and baking powder; add to the egg mixture. Continue beating about 5 minutes.
3. Drop the batter by teaspoonfuls onto a well-greased cookie sheet. Leave one inch of space between each cookie. Do not cover. Let stand overnight to dry.
4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake the cookies for 8 minutes.
