    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup shortening

    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup brown sugar

    1 egg

    1 cup crushed pineapple, undrained

    1-1/2 cups oatmeal

    1 cup flour

    1/2 teaspoon soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

    1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    1. Cream shortening and sugars together until fluffy. Beat in egg and undrained pineapple. Blend in remaining ingredients.

    2. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 15 minutes.

    Yields about 3 dozen cookies.
