1 pound cubed beef stew meat (bite-size pieces)
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet
2 medium or 3 small potatoes, cubed
2 large or 3 medium carrots, peeled and diced
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen peas (add last before serving)
Recipe
1. Mix everything except peas together in crockpot. Cook on low about 8 hours.
2. Add the peas in the last 1/2 hour (they can get mushy otherwise).
3. If you like the "gravy" thinner, add more water after the stew is cooked. You can also add other vegetables if they are available.

From Ness: “This is REALLY good with Bisquick dumplings on top. Follow the recipe on the Bisquick box and drop the dumplings on top of the hot stew, recover with the lid, turn to HIGH, and cook another 1/2 hour or until dumplings are cooked. It's also good with any type of hot rolls. This beef stew changes a little each time I make it...depending on the veggies I have on hand.”
