2 cans Italian-style tomatoes (16-ounces each), broken up
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
Recipe
1. Remove sausage from casings; brown with ground beef in a skillet, breaking up with a wooden spoon. Drain and add to crockpot with remaining ingredients. Stir well.
2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 12 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours.
3. For thicker sauce, cook on HIGH for the last 2 hours, removing the cover for the last hour.
