1/4 cup sugar
1 tbs all-purpose flour
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tbs lemon juice
1 egg separated
1/3 cup milk
Sweetened whipped cream

Recipe
Combine first 3 ingredients in mixing bowl; stir in butter, lemon rind, and lemon juice.
Beat egg yolk until thick and lemon colored. Add yolk and milk to lemon mixture; stir well.
Beat egg white until stiff peaks form; fold into lemon mixture.
Pour into 2 greased 6-oz custard cups or ramekins. Place the custard cups in a shallow baking pan; pour hot water into baking pan to a depth of 1".
Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool.
Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and lemon slices. Serves 2.
