    3/4 cup thinly sliced onions

    3 tablespoons butter

    1-1/2 cups instant rice

    2 cans all beef chili, no beans

    1-3/4 cups water

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    1. Saute onions in a saucepan in butter until tender but not browned.

    2. Add rice and saute until golden brown, stirring frequently.

    3. Add chili, water, and salt. Bring to a boil. Then cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Serves 4
