    4 (3/4-inch-thick) pork loin chops

    2 tablespoons butter or margarine

    1 tablespoon apple brandy

    1 cloves garlic, finely chopped, or 1 teaspoon garlic paste

    2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

    1/2 cup applesauce

    1-1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

    1-1/2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard

    1/2 cup sour cream

    Hot buttered noodles

    Recipe



    1. 4 thinly sliced apple wedges (optional)
    Brown pork chops on both sides in butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove chops; Set aside.

    2. Add brandy, garlic, onion, applesauce, flour and mustard to skillet; cook 3 minutes. Stir in sour cream with a wire whisk.

    3. Return chops to skillet; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until chops are tender.

    4. Serve pork chops with applesauce cream over hot buttered noodles. Garnish each pork chop with an apple wedge, if desired.

    Serves 4
