1. Cook pasta per package directions, drain and set aside.
2. In 10-inch skillet cook onion, mushrooms and seasoning until onion is tender. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce; cook uncovered over medium high heat for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in the pasta, green beans and 1/2 cup of shredded Monterey jack cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir well to mix.
4. Pour into an 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes.
5. Add a little grated parmesan to topping if desired
