1. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper; rub in well. Coat with flour; shake off excess.
2. Melt the butter with the oil in a skillet. Brown the chicken. Remove from skillet.
3. Add the tomato sauce and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring slowly to a boil, scraping pan.
4. Transfer sauce with chicken in a single layer to a shallow baking dish. Cover the chicken with the salami and provolone. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
