    List of Ingredients




    6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

    2 tablespoons butter, melted

    1/2 cup red current jelly

    2 tablespoons prepared mustard

    1-1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

    1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

    1/3 cup slivered almonds

    Recipe



    1. Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter.

    2. Combine jelly with the next 5 ingredients in a saucepan. Dissolve over medium heat. Let cool slightly. Stir in almonds.

    3. Pour 1/2 of mixture over the chicken; cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes.

    4. Uncover and bake 5 minutes or until done. Baste with remaining jelly mix.

    5. Broil 4 inches from heat for 1 minute until almonds are golden.

    Serves 6
