    3 tablespoons vegetable oil

    2 tablespoons lemon juice

    1 tablespoon sugar

    1/2 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

    1 (15-ounce) can asparagus spears, chilled and drained

    Fresh spinach leaves

    1 hard-cooked egg, finely chopped

    Recipe



    1. Combine oil, lemon juice, sugar, mustard and salt in a small mixing bowl, stirring well; add bacon, stirring well.

    2. Arrange asparagus spears on spinach-lined salad plates. Spoon dressing over asparagus; sprinkle with hard-cooked egg.

    Serves 6
