    Salmon Mousse

    List of Ingredients




     2 envelopes Knox gelatin
     water
     2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) salmon, drained and liquid reserved
     1 cup mayonnaise
     1 cup sour cream
     1/4 cup lemon juice
     1 teaspoon salt
     1 teaspoon paprika
     1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
     Lettuce, dill sprigs and lemon wedges for garnish

    Recipe



    1. In small saucepan, soften gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.

    2. Add enough water to salmon liquid to make 1 cup.

    3. Add to gelatin. Cook and stir over medium heat until dissolved. Cool.

    4. Mix remaining ingredients in processor or blender in two batches until smooth.

    5. Blend salmon and gelatin mixtures well.

    6. Pour into lightly oiled 8-cup mold. Cover and chill until set.

    7. Unmold on lettuce lined plate. Garnish.
