    Reuben Sandwiches

    A twist on a classic, using Manwich Sandwich Sauce and knackwurst.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (1 lb) can sauerkraut, drained
    • 1 can Hunt's Manwich Sandwich Sauce
    • 1 tsp caraway seeds
    • 6 knackwurst, skinned and grilled or broiled
    • 6 slices pumpernickel bread, buttered
    • Shredded Swiss cheese


    Instructions


    1. Combine sauerkraut, Manwich and caraway seeds in saucepan, simmer 5 minutes, stirring often.
    2. Split knackwurst lengthwise; place on top of bread. Spoon Manwich mixture down center of knackwurst; top with shredded cheese.
    3. Broil until cheese is bubbly.
