    Hot Dog Hot Pot


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound franks, sliced thin
    • 2 tablespoons margarine
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    • 2 large carrots, peeled and sliced
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tall can of evaporated milk (1-2/3 cups)
    • 1 can (12 or 16 ounces) whole-kernel corn, undrained
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


    Instructions


    1. Bown franks in margarine in a heay kettle. Push to one side. Add onion and saute until soft.


    2. Stir in potatoes, carrots, water, thyme, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boiling.


    3. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are tender.


    4. Stir in evaporated milk and the corn with its liquid. Heat slowly until hot, but do not boil.


    5. Sprinkle servings with parsley.
