    List of Ingredients




    2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces

    2 tablespoons flour

    3 tablespoons salad oil

    2 teaspoons salt

    1/2 teaspoon pepper

    6 small potatoes, diced

    6 medium carrots, cut into chunks

    4 large onions, quartered

    1/4 cup soy sauce

    1 cup water

    1 (10-1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

    2 tablespoons lemon juice

    1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated biscuits (about 12 biscuits)

    Recipe



    1. Roll meat in flour to coat lightly. Heat the oil in a heavy pan with a cover; brown meat, stirring constantly.

    2. Season with salt and pepper. Add the vegetables. Then add soy sauce and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Uncover and add mushroom soup and lemon juice.

    3. Arrange biscuits over top; bake, uncovered, in a 400 degrees F. oven for 10 minutes or until the biscuits are browned.

    Serves 6
