    List of Ingredients




    8 slices bacon, chopped

    1 large onion, sliced

    1/2 cup white vinegar

    1/4 cup sugar

    3 (16-ounce) cans whole green beans, drained

    Recipe



    1. Cook bacon and onion on medium heat in a large skillet, stirring often until bacon is crisp. Remove with slotted spoon. Reserve 1/4 cup drippings. Drain on paper towels.

    2. Combine the vinegar with the sugar and pour into drippings; boil. Add the beans and heat.

    3. Spoon into a serving dish and top with bacon and onions.

    Serves 8
