Parsnips, Honey-Orange
Recipe Introduction
I cut this out of a magazine years ago. I think it was "Women's Day". It's very good.
List of Ingredients
- 3 medium parsnips (about 1 lb)
- Salt
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp grated orange rind
- 2 tbsp orange juice
Instructions
- Peel parsnips and cut into 1/4 inch diagonal slices. Cook in a small amount of lightly salted boiling water until tender; drain
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer a few minutes.
