    Parsnips, Honey-Orange

    Recipe Introduction


    I cut this out of a magazine years ago. I think it was "Women's Day". It's very good.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 medium parsnips (about 1 lb)
    • Salt
    • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 1 tsp grated orange rind
    • 2 tbsp orange juice


    Instructions


    1. Peel parsnips and cut into 1/4 inch diagonal slices. Cook in a small amount of lightly salted boiling water until tender; drain

    2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer a few minutes.



    Final Comments


    Makes 4 servings
