    List of Ingredients




    3 medium onions, sliced and separated into rings

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    3 large green peppers, sliced into rings

    1 (4-ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

    1/2 cup Italian cooking sauce

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon seasoned salt

    1 teaspoon dried whole oregano

    1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

    Recipe



    1. Sauté onion in hot oil in a large skillet for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.

    2. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Reduce heat; cover, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Serves 6 to 8
