    5 pounds potatoes, peeled and mashed

    3 garlic cloves, peeled

    1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

    1/2 cup milk

    2 tablespoons butter or margarine

    1 to 1-1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    1/4 cup chopped green onions, optional

    1/8 teaspoon paprika

    Recipe



    1. Place potatoes and garlic in saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain well.

    2. Place potatoes and garlic in bowl. Add cream cheese, milk, butter, salt and pepper; beat until smooth.

    3. Transfer to serving bowl; sprinkle with paprika and green onions.

    Serves 6 to 8
