    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    • 1 egg white
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/2 cup boiling water


    Instructions


    1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Add boiling water last. Beat on high with electric beater for 10 minutes. This makes enough icing for a large angel food cake or 2 or 3 layers.
