GINGERBREAD CAKE with LEMON CREAM

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. molasses
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 c. hot water
- Fluffy Lemon Cream Topping:
- 8 oz. ( 250 ml) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sifted icing sugar
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Bake cake at 350 degrees. Bake cake and let cool. Topping: Blend ingredients with an electric mixer and chill in refrigerator.
