SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES

- 1 pkg. (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix
- 1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- dash salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mix cake according to directions. Fill paper baking cups in muffin pans 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar; beat in eggs and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop one rounded teaspoon of cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directs. Makes about 30 cupcakes.
