- 4 eggs
- 3-1/2 cups icing sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp. rum
- 1/2 tsp. lemon peel
- anise to sprinkle on the sheet, if desired
Instructions
- Beat eggs and sugar until creamy. Add rum, lemon peel, and flour. Dough should be sticky, but easy to handle. Roll small balls of dough 1 cm. thick, flour wooden shape with a knife and press dough into mold. Place on greased baking sheet and let cookies dry overnight. Bake at 250 for about 1/2 hour. Tops should remain white.
