    SPANISH RICE

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup uncooked instant rice
    • 28 oz. can tomatoes
    • 12 oz. can corn niblets
    • 10 oz. can mushrooms, drained
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
    • 1 lb. cooked ground beef
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    • garlic


    Instructions


    1. Cook ground beef in frying pan. Add tomatoes (chopped or mashed), corn, mushrooms, and seasonings. Cook until good and bubbling hot. Add rice, cover and let stand for at least 5 minutes. Cook longer, if necessary to evaporate some of the water.
