    List of Ingredients


    • 6 oz. wild rice, cooked
    • 1 cup finely diced celery
    • ½ cup minced onion
    • 4 Tbsp. butter
    • 1 can beef consommé or chicken broth
    • ½ can water
    • 1 small can mushrooms with juice


    Instructions


    1. Sauté celery and onion in butter until tender or straw coloured. Drain cooked wild rice; combine all ingredients in a heavy pot and boil until moisture is absorbed (45 minutes or more or until preference of moisture content is reached. May be placed in a casserole and baked at 250 degrees for 20 minutes for drier rice.
