    ALMOND & BROCCOLI SALAD

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. broccoli, peeled and finely diced
    • 1 small red onion, chopped fine
    • 1 tomato, seeds removed, chopped fine
    • 1 cup sliced toasted almonds
    • Salad Dressing:
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1/4 cup oil
    • 1/4 cup vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion


    Instructions


    1. To toast almonds: spread on cookie sheet and put in 300 oven for 3 to 7 minutes. Turn every few minutes and watch carefully! Almonds will turn darker when removed from oven and exposed to air! Combine ingredients and cover with salad dressing.

    2. Salad dressing:Refrigerate well before serving.
