List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. pine nuts or walnut pieces
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 bunch fresh basil, (about 4 cups leaves)
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients except the basil in a blender. Blend until smooth, then add the basil a handful at a time, blending until all of the basil is incorporated and the pesto is somewhat smooth. Makes about 1 cup.
