    List of Ingredients


    • 16 oz. pkg. dry lima beans
    • 1/3 to 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1 level tsp. dry mustard
    • boiling water
    • salt


    Instructions


    1. Soak lima beans in water overnight; drain. Cover well with boiling water and salt. Cook until nearly tender, drain and reserve juice. Place beans in casserole. Make paste of brown sugar, dry mustard, and add juice enough to make a paste. Pour over the beans, adding more juice to cover beans. Bake 1 hour in a 325 degree oven.
