    Source of Recipe

    My aunt

    List of Ingredients

    • Topping:
    • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • Filling:
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/2 cup softened butter
    • Rolls:
    • 3 to 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 pkg. dry yeast
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 2 Tbsp. softened butter
    • 1 egg

    Instructions

    1. Mix cream and brown sugar in ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Dissolve 1 tsp. of the sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. Add yeast and stir. Let stand 10 minutes. In a large bowl, place 1 1/2 cups of flour, remaining sugar, slat and remaining water, butter and egg. Add dissolved yeast and beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 to 2 cups of flour. Knead for 1 minute, then roll into 15 x 17 rectangle. Spread filling over the dough. Starting at the long side, roll tightly and seal edges. Cut into 16 to 20 rolls and place cut side down into cream mixture. Cover and let rise until doubled (35-45 minutes). Cool for 10 to 15 minutes before turning out onto a tray.
