    This coffeecake is good cold, but much better warm.
    And yes, this one coffeecake really does require one entire box of confectioners’ sugar; so don’t skimp.

    List of Ingredients




    1 box of pound cake mix
    4 eggs
    1 stick butter, melted
    1-8 oz. package cream cheese
    1 ½ tablespoon vanilla
    1-1 pound box confectioners’ sugar


    Recipe



    Blend cake mix with 2 eggs and melted butter; pour into a large (8x12) baking dish.
    In another bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 eggs, vanilla and the confectioners’ sugar, minus 2 tablespoons.
    Mix well and spread over batter in dish.
    Bake in 300 degree oven for 15 minutes.
    Remove cake from oven and sprinkle reserved 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar on top.
    Return to oven and continue to bake 25 minutes longer.
