A family favorite at Christmas time.
List of Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Mix sugar and butter.
Add milk gradually.
Add flour.
Kneed the dough then roll out about 1/4 inch thick.
Shape with cookie cutters.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until set but not brown.
Bake 325 maybe 8-10 minutes.
Frosting is powdered sugar and vanilla.
Frosting will be thin.
At Christmas you can color the frosting.
These cookies keep their shape.
