    12 oz. real chocolate chips
    1/4 c. water
    5 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    7 egg whites
    Pinch salt

    Recipe



    Melt chocolate chips and water in a stainless steel bowl in a 300 degrees oven, or over simmering water.
    When melted, remove from heat and beat until smooth.
    Add the egg yolks and stir until smooth.
    Cool mixture 3 minutes.
    Whip the egg whites with salt until almost dry.
    Fold into chocolate mixture.
    Pour into a serving bowl or into individual serving glasses.
    Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
    Makes 2 quarts.
