SAUSAGE AND CHEESE BALLS

1 lb. pork or Italian sausage
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. waterRecipe
Remove sausage from casing; cook in large skillet,
breaking up the meat with fork, until no longer pink. Drain
off fat, spoon sausage into large bowl; cool completely.
Add
cheese, biscuit mix and water; mix with fork until blended.
Roll into 1-inch balls, place on large cookie sheet 2-inches
apart. Bake in hot oven at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes
or until
puffed and browned. Remove from cookie sheet; cool
completely
on wire rack. Puffs can be baked, then frozen. Freeze in
single layer on cookie sheets, then place in plastic bag
when
frozen. To reheat, arrange in single layer on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 50 servings.
